How to Get to the Church
First Baptist is located at 201 North Main Street in LaFayette, GA. The church is located at the corner of Main Street (GA Highway 27 business) and Culberson St. Click here for map and driving directions.

Where Do I Park?
We have parking lots on the north side of the building across from the Sonic Drive-In Restaurant and in the back of the building. There are several visitor parking places reserved in both lots. Handicap parking is located along Dickerson St. on the north side of the building. Main entrance to the building is on the front north side of the building near the elevator. Welcome volunteers are available at all entrances to help you find your way in the building. Nursery and children's classrooms are on the ground floor.

What Should I Wear?
What you wear to FBC is up to you. Dress ranges from "Sunday best" to casual, comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Don't worry about what you wear....just come prepared to worship and fellowship with the body of Christ.

What Time Should I Get There?
We have two services on Sunday mornings. The Early Service begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Coffee and doughnuts are served beforehand so come early for time to visit and fellowship. The Early Service is our more contemporary Praise and Worship service. A variety of music is sung from traditional hymns to current worship songs. The sermon is identical to that offered in the 11:00 service. Round tables are set up in the Fellowship Hall making it more comfortable for families with younger children to all sit together. The Morning Worship Service begins at 11:00 a.m. This more traditional service meets in the sanctuary. Music is led by our Sanctuary Choir. Sunday Evening Church meets at 6:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Where Do My Children Go?
Baby, preschool, and children's classes are all located on the ground floor of our building. Come to any door of the church and the greeters there can direct you to the right classroom for your child. All Youth Sunday School Classes meet in the Annex, the separate peach-colored house across the side street on the south side of the church. There is a class for middle school students (grades 6-8) and a class for high school students (grades 9-12).

Family Night Suppers
Family Night Suppers are each Wednesday and something we all look forward to here at FBC. Served in the Fellowship Hall, supper starts at 5:30 p.m. and is served until shortly after 6:00 p.m. In addition to the regular meals offered there is a Children's Line. Reservations can be made by calling the church office at 706-638-3727. First time visitors are welcome to come free of charge (you still need a reservation). Regular menus are posted weekly on the church calendar. Following Family Night Suppers are a variety of activities. Bible Study/Prayer Service for adults begins at 6:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Youth CHAOS meets at the Annex at 6:15 p.m. for grades 6-12. Children in grades 1-5 can go to Girls in Action and Royal Ambassadors. Preschool children are invited to attend Mission Friends/Kids' Chorale.
