Adults

K.A.P.S. is an active group of mostly senior adults (although they welcome people of all ages) that meet once a month for an outing and time of fellowship.  Their activities include dinner trips, plays, shopping, museums, as well as annual trips to Ellijay for apples, and to Muddy Pond, TN to visit the Mennonite community.  They also take weekend trips from time to time to places such as Savannah or The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove.  Check the calendar below for any upcoming senior adult events and come join us!

G.A.L.S. is what we call our Women's Ministry at First Baptist.  Through Bible studies, women's conferences, and other spiritual endeavors we are truly seeking and encouraging other women to grow as a loving servant of our Lord.  Some activites sponsored by G.A.L.S. include banquets and conferences featuring the likes of Babbie Mason and Janet Paschal, Garden Parties, Tea Parties, a Tour of Homes at Christmas, etc.  Check the calendar below for any upcoming women's events.

Our Women On Mission consists of two groups of ladies called Mary Christian 1 and Mary Christian 2.  They each have a monthly meeting to which they invite a guest speaker from a local or sometimes foreign ministry or mission organization that they support.  There are a number of mission projects that these ladies take on during the year, such as food drives, Operation Christmas Child, school supplies for Kids 4 Christ, supplies for the Georgia Baptist Children's Homes, etc.  They are always doing something!  If this sounds like something you would like to be involved with, check the calendar below to attend an upcoming meeting!
