Organized on July 11, 1835 with eleven members, First Baptist Church of LaFayette, Georgia has a long tradition of ministry to the community and giving praise to God. Now over 150 years old and running around 400 in attendance on Sunday mornings, we have entered a new era of sharing “the old, old story” using modern methods that relate to a diverse and growing community.Everybody matters at FBC LaFayette. It is our desire to reach more people with the Gospel, to minister to the whole person seven days a week, and to make the church relevant to the needs of the community.
